A round-up of the best cycling deals to be found online for everything from bikes to accessories

Like David Dickinson in a Herefordshire auction room, we go mad for a bargain here at Cyclist. From bike computers to helmets, winter jackets to turbo trainers, there are always top deals to be found online, you just have to know where to look.

Sale periods like Black Friday and Boxing Day are always good starting points for tech and component discounts and can also handy for picking up bargains on out-of-season kit too. However, such is the modern world that seldom will there be a period where items are not being offered for less than their RRP.

Below, we’ve hand-picked some of the best deals on bikes and cycling goods this winter. If nothing takes your fancy now, keep checking back as we are keeping this page regularly updated.

The best online cycling deals UK

Poc Omne Air Spin helmet

Available in three sizes (S/M/L), the Omne Air Spin is one of Poc’s more affordable helmets thaat benefits from trickle-down technology such as the SPIN rotational impact protection and the lightweight adjustable dial for ultimate fit. It’s also a neat looking helmet with reaasonable ventilation for the warmer days.

Sigma is currently offering 41% off with options left in black or white, depending on which suits your kit better.

Elite Directo smart turbo trainer

Was £769.99, now £499.99 – save 35%

With deep winter upon us, the appeal of indoor training is at its highest, which makes this deal on the Elite Directo smart turbo trainer particularly attractive.

Accuracy is claimed to be +/-2% up to the max power limit which is 2,200W at 60kmh, all contained within a system that can also replicate inclines up to 14% making this an ideal choice for those looking to get onto Zwift without breaking the bank.

Supplied with quick release and 142×12mm thru axles, this trainer is also versatile for those with more than one bike too.

Rapha Core jersey

Was £60, now £42 – save 30%

The Rapha Core jersey marked down to £42? We'll be having a bit of that.

With 10 block colours to choose from, the Core jersey is your ideal everyday jersey that prides itself on comfort, fit and style. Sure, these things are 10-a-penny in London’s Richmond Park come springtime but there’s a reason for that – they are very good.

And if you’re wondering which one to go for, we suggest violet. Underrated colour.

Continental GP5000 clincher tyre twin pack

Was £119.98, now £67.99 – save £51.99

From the most popular cyling tyre dynasty of all time, Continental’s GP5000 is pretty much the ideal all-round tyre doing that tough task of perfectly mixing pucture protection, rolling resistance, grip and durability in a product that can genuienly be used 365 days a year. ProBikeKit is currently offering up to £50 off a twin pack of tyres, with options from 23mm up to 30mm.

Note these are the clincher options, not their tubeless siblings.

SiS Go Isotonic energy gel 30 pack

Was £46.50, now £21.99 – save 52%

It’s always worth stockpiling gels. You'll need them all year round and with the fact that they have such a long expiration date, you can just leave them at the back of the cupboard until such time you need them.

My maths ain’t great but I think this deal means you are getting the gels for about 73p each which is quite the steal considering they are usually £1.50 when sold individually.

Fizik R5 Tempo Overcure road shoes

Was £149, now £95 – save 36%

An impressive set of shoes that are suited to long days in the saddle, the Fizik R5 Tempo Overcure shoes combines a single Boa dial and Velcro strap for a secured fit with a staggered collar that follows the misalignment of the ankle for a truer fit.

The nylon sole isn’t the stiffest but will ensure comfort and sufficient pedal efficiency. Avaliable in five colours and in half sizes from EU36 through to EU48.

Rapha Balmamion club jersey

Was £140, now £98 – save £42

The Balmamion collection is one of the best drops from Rapha in an awful long time. Based upon the great Carpano jersey of the 1960s worn by the ’Eagle of Canavese’, Franco Balmamion, this jersey personifies the elegance and style of cycling over half a century ago.

Made of merino wool, this jersey has ribbed sleeves, embroided logos and a period-style quarter zip to finish off what is a gorgeous number.
