The 'Chiltern 100 Cycling Festival' merges two existing events to create a festival on 16th July

Two pre-existing events, the Chiltern 100 Sportive and Chiltern Cycling Festival, will be rolled out together in 2017 as the Chiltern 100 Cycling Festival, and organised by Human Race Events, the British arm of Tour de France organisers ASO.

The 172km/107mile 'Gran Fondo' consists of 21 climbs, totalling over 2,400m of vertical ascent, while the Medio Fondo will be 109km/68 miles and the Corto Fondo 52km/32 miles. The Cycletta event, part of Human Race’s series of women-only rides, will be a 52km/32 mile course, and finally the the Amersham Classic, also 52km, will be an Eroica-style vintage ride.

All events will be running out of the Velo Village, which will be the hub of the event and provide the setting for trade stalls, food and drink, live music, and a TV for anyone who wants to watch Le Tour (because stage 15 is on the same day).

While the sportives are ticketed and with limited places, entrance to the Velo Village will be free of charge.
