Iconic British tubing company teams up with fashion retailer Oi Polloi to produce Reynolds x Oi Polloi range

Iconic British tubing company Reynolds Technology has teamed up with men's clothing outlet Oi Polloi to produce a contemporary range of casual wear.

Oi Polloi co-owner Nigel Lawson designed the range, which is made in collaboration with Reynold's licensee Heritage Apparel, and has aimed to represent the history of the brand across the range of t-shirts, polos, track tops and outerwear.

Established in Birmingham in 1897, the company's most famous tubing alloy, 531, is a acknowledged in details throughout the range.

'It’s been great working with the team at Heritage, re-energising one of British cycling’s most famous brands with the new collection we’ve designed,' said Lawson, the designer. 'When we started to look at designing the collection, it was amazing to see the wealth of Reynolds historical memorabilia available to us and the depth of the history of the Reynolds brand. We've respected the brand’s history while giving things a modern twist.'

Meanwhile Reynolds' managing director Keith Noronha said: 'Reynolds are delighted to work with Nigel Lawson and Heritage Apparel on this project. The creativity of the designs, based on our cycle tubing decal artwork and imagery, has been amazing. The result is a line of clothing that we would love to wear ourselves.'

The range will be available for purchase later in the year.
