The 2017 Women's WorldTour will involve 46 days of racing in 20 races across 10 countries

The races that will form the 2017 Women's WorldTour have been announced by the UCI. The 20 women's events will take place in 10 countries and include 46 days of racing.

Some of the races are in tandem with men's events, such as Liege-Bastogne-Liege and the Tour of Flanders, but many are standalone races on the women's calendar.

The 2017 Women's WorldTour starts on Saturday 4th March with Strade Bianche, which was won by then-World Champion Lizzie Deignan in 2016.

Visiting Italy, the Netherlands, Belgium, China, the USA, the UK, France, Sweden, Norway and Spain, the 2017 Women's WorldTour finishes with the Madrid Challenge by La Vuelta on Sunday 10th September, the final day of the men's Vuelta a Espana.

The 2016 series was won by Megan Guarnier riding for Boels-Dolmans. With a strong squad, including present World Champion Amalie Dideriksen, the Dutch team will be looking to defend the title with any of a number of its riders.
