Canyon and Brother Cycling have announced a partnership to provide neutral support for a range of UK domestic races, including the National Championships.

The deal will see Canyon providing a fleet of Ultimate CF SLX and Aeroad CF SLX road bikes for Brother’s neutral service vehicles, which will be available to every rider in a selection of high-profile sportives and single-day pro races across the UK.

Technology firm Brother is an official partner to the Aviva Women’s Tour, the Tour Series and Tour of Britain, and also sponsors four domestic teams.

Pro-level support

Its neutral support vehicles have become a common sight on the domestic racing calendar, and the addition of a fleet of bikes will bring everyday cyclists closer to the kind of blanket assistance normally reserved for the pros at WorldTour level.

‘Helping every cyclist, whether it be a seasoned pro or a weekend warrior, achieve their full potential on a bike is something that resonates with Canyon as a brand,’ Canyon’s UK Market Manager Nick Allen said in announcing the deal.

The announcement didn’t specify exactly which races and events will be covered, but the list will definitely include the British National Championships and UCI Velothon Wales.

‘We are delighted to have secured this partnership with Canyon to be the official bike partner to Neutral Service sponsored by Brother UK,’ Brother MD Phil Jones MBE said.

‘They are a proven brand at WorldTour level and highly appropriate to now also be supporting top-level domestic racing.’
