If you are planning on riding this weekend's Prudential RideLondon and want to celebrate finishing the sportive, head down to the Amstel Cold Tub Pub for a free beer with a twist.

Instead of the usual pub stools, Amstel have swapped chairs for ice-cold pools of water. If you dare to take a plunge in the freezing cold water, Amstel will offer all those brave enough a free beer on the house.

To celebrate their partnership with the RideLondon sportive, Amstel teamed up with 30-time stage winner of the Tour de France, Mark Cavendish, to launch  the alternative pub that will be open to the public on both Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th of July.

The concept takes inspiration from the popularity of ice baths amongst athletes and is targeted towards those tired leges that will be finishing the sportive this Sunday.

However, if you happen to find yourelf in the area, yet are not riding the 100 mile sportive, worry not, as the pub is open to all.

Honorary pub landlord Mark Cavendish has enjoyed the odd ice bath in his time and reckons it will be the perfect ending to the gruelling ride.

'On the back of what will no doubt be a gruelling 100-mile Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100, I am sure the riders will be extremely happy to know that they can be rewarded with an ice bath as well a nice cold Amstel at the finishing line!'

The pub will be situated on the Pall Mall, just metres from the finish line, and spaces can be reserved at
