Sports nutrition company SiS agrees deal with Team Sky to continue working together until 2020

Sports nutrition company Science in Sport has confirmed the renewal of their agreement as official sports nutrition partner to Team Sky until 2020.

After agreeing to become the team's nutrition parter in 2015, SiS will see its partnership with the British WorldTour team extended for at least a fifth season.

SiS works closely with Team Sky, ensuring they deliver the best products suited to the team whilst also looking to develop their products.

Work with the team - that includes Tour de France and Vuelta a Espana double winner Chris Froome - has helped pioneer new products whilst also helping advice the team on its fuelling at the world's biggest races.

This is something that is recognised by Team Sky team principal Dave Brailsford.

'As a team, it is an area we place importance on – not just with the nutritional support provided to riders, but also in terms of innovation, research and rider education. We seek to be supported by the best.' he said

'Science in Sport understand and share our commitment to continuous improvement, and that makes them a key partner of Team Sky and we’re looking forward to achieving more with them over the next 3 years.'

SiS CEO Stephen Moon also expressed their eagerness to continue with the team and develop new products.

'We are looking forward to another three years working with Team Sky, supporting their world-class racing programme and in turn seeing products developed with them filter down to our whole customer base.'
