Added to his cyclocross titles, Tom Pidcock is now the Junior TT World Champion

Tom Pidcock won the Junior Men's Time Trial at the UCI World Championships after a blisteringly fast ride around the course in Bergen Norway.

The British rider won the 21.1km event in a time of 28:02.15, pushing Antonio Puppio (ITA) into second by 12 seconds. Filip Maciejuk (POL) completed the podium.

Pidcock was already the current World, European and British National Champion in cyclocross and British National Criterium Champion. He also won Junior Paris-Roubaix back in the Spring.

The 18-year-old is set to make his professional debut in cyclocross next month with Telenet-Fidea Lions and is rumoured to be looking for a Continental road team for next season.

Pidcock will enter the road race on Friday as favourite and few will bet against him to take home another jersey.

The rolling course is most likely to end in a bunch sprint, perhaps from a reduced group, but the Classics-style parcours will play to Pidcock's strengths.
