A look at the 3T Strada that Aqua Blue will be riding next season

As of next season, Irish ProContinental side Aqua Blue will be riding the 3T Strada, and here is next year's bike. Considered one of the most innovative bikes of recent times, the Strada is 1x specific, with no provisions for a front mech.

This means that the pros using this bike, including Adam Blythe and American National Champion Larry Warbasse, will only have the choice of riding the single chainring setup.

True to the team's name, the 3T has been given a blue makeover, moving away from the red that the bike has been released in.

Fitted with a matching blue stem, the 3T Strada used by Aqua Blue next season will no doubt be similar and be one of the most noticeable bikes in the pro peloton next season, not only for its distinctive colour but its revolutionary approach to road bikes.

Subsequent teaser photos have also showed a golden shamrock on the top tube, a nod to the team's Irish roots.

The bike's official launch will be at this week's Rouleur Classic. The event will also see the launch of EF Education First - Drapac's kit for the 2018 season which is rumoured to be moving away from the usual green of the team.
