A stiff and more aerodynamic frame with added triathlon accessories

The Factor Slick TT bike used by the likes of AG2R La Mondiale's Romain Bardet has received an update with a new triathlon-specific frame that promises to improve both aerodynamics and stiffness.

Partnering with bike fitters 51 Speedshop, the frame comes with a mono-riser all-carbon aerobar which not only promises to be aerodynamic but fully adjustable with varying width options and three choices of bend on the bar extensions.

This triathlon version of the Slick also incorporates Factor's Twin Van evo down tube. A distinctive split down tube that promises to provide optimal stiffness and improved aerodynamics.

Being designed for triathlon, the Slick has also incorporated some accessories necessary for the swim-ride-run race. This includes a carbon storage box mounted on the seat tube and a hydration mount in the centre of the aerobar.

This latest update is thanks to extensive experimentation from Factor which it claims is made possible from owning its own in-house factory for research and design and manufacturing which means its ability to mover from 'drawing board to production model is unmatched in the industry.'

Factor will offer the Slick triathlon frame as just a frameset or built with Black Inc Eighty deep section carbon clinchers included.
