A few of the cyclocross bike highlights from the upcoming Cycle Show, at the Birmingham NEC.

The Cycle Show is the UK’s largest and longest-running cycling exhibition, having welcomed over 300,000 visitors since its launch in 2002. This year the show, which will be held at the NEC between 25th & 27th September, will host around 280 exhibitors from every aspect in the cycling world. The guys who do The Cycle Show have put together a guide to some of the best cyclocross bikes that you can see at the 2015 show.

Condor Bivio-X Disc - £649.99 (frameset)

With its own cult following, Condor has been flying the flag for British cyclocross, even when the discipline had a dip in popularity. Carbon forks mean the the Bivio-X Disc handles the toughest dirt or paved road with forgiving, quick performance. The Bivio also boasts discreet rack and mudguard mounts, adding versatility.

Vitus Energie Pro - £1599

Vitus has been making a splash for sometime with its impressive range of road bikes, and is now making similar waves in the off-road market. The 2016 Vitus Enerie Pro is race level ‘cross bike, tipping the scales at 200g less than its 2015 equivalent. The inclusion of SRAM’s new Rival 1 CX groupset adds to its pedigree, and an increased mudguard clearance makes it perfect wherever you ride.

Rose Team Cross DX 3000 – Price TBC

German manufacturer Rose will again be returning to The Cycle Show this year, and with it comes impressive Rose Team Cross DX 3000. The direct to customer nature of Rose’s bike builds mean that the possibilities for componentry are endless. The choice of frame is not in question however, with the DX 3000 frame consisting of a super light alloy with carbon forks, giving an agile feel. 

Raleigh RX Pro - £1500

Perhaps one of the most famous bike manufacturers around, Raleigh has produced a number of impressive cyclocross machines over the years. The new RX Pro is its top-of-the-range aluminum model, and boasts butted alloy with tapered headtube and an all carbon 15mm thru axle fork. With SRAM Rival throughout, including its powerful hydraulic brakes, this is one of the most desirable ‘cross bikes around.
