Cyclist Track Day Focus: Your chance to ride the Wilier Cento10 Air

This Italian stallion will be on offer for you to ride at the Cyclist Track Day events: buy your tickets now

The Willier Cento10 Air shares many similarities with it's most famous user, Filippo Pozzato. The Peacock of Sandrigo is often not taken very seriously. His body is covered in tattoos, he often parties mid-season on the island of Ibiza and he has a reputation for not finishing races.

This, in my opinion, is completely unfair. In his illustrious career Pippo has taken wins at E3 Prijs Vlaanderen (now E3 Harelbeke), Omloop Het Volk (Omloop Het Nieuwsblad), the overall at Tirreno-Adriatico and even a Monument in Milan-San Remo.

I'm sure if you offered that palmares to 90% of the pro peloton, they would bite your arm off.

The same can be said for the Wilier Cento 10 Air. It's never afforded the same status as its compartiots, Colnago and Bianchi. Its wordy downtube is sometimes regarded unfashionable and its sharp tubing unItalian but please do not be mistaken. This is a proper race bike.

Why should I ride the Wilier Cento10 Air?

The Wilier Cento10 Air is as fast as it gets from the Italian brand. Its aerodynamic frame is aggressive and thrusts you through the wind when you pedal and while the handling can be a bit 'Italian' at first, once mastered it becomes a dream to handle downhill at speed.

Reverse the gradient and start climbing and the Wilier Cento10 Air will offer you more than enough riding uphill despite being an aero frame. It's 7.51kg, which isn't superlight, but impressive for a bike designed to sprint.

When you ride the Cento10 you will be impressed by how smooth it rides. When tested by our own James Spender he couldn't help but praise how everything seemed to combine into one piece, tempting you in to a smooth and precise ride.

Come the Track Days, chances are many will flock straight to some of the bigger brands on offer, and that's absolutely fine. But if you're after a good time, head over to Wilier because the Cento10 Air will be a party.

The beautifully different Wilier Cento10 Air will be one of the many bikes available for you to ride at one of four Cyclist Track Days this spring.

If the Cento10 Air doesn't hit the spot, bikes from the likes of BMC, Canyon, Bianchi, Cannondale, Specialized and 3T will also be on offer for you to test around the purpose-built tracks.

With your ticket, not only will you get to ride bikes to your heart's content but also you will also get to speak to experts from the brands and the Cyclist editorial team while getting a hot lunch and goody bag.
