London Nocturne: Free-to-spectate racing in the heart of London this weekend
The Mr Porter London Nocturne take places this Saturday 9th June in the City of London, and it's free to attend

The Mr Porter London Nocturne returns to the capital's streets with the event taking place on a closed circuit in the shadow of St Paul's Cathedral on this Saturday 9th June. The event was previously sponsored by Rapha and there had even been a suggestion that it wouldn't be going ahead, but thankfully for those racing and spectating it will return this year better than ever.
A full schedule of events runs from 14:00 to 22:20 and every event is free to spectate. Excitement is guaranteed from the penny farthing race, the Brompton event with its -run-and-unfold start, as well as fixed gear crits and professional circuit races.
In years past the London Nocturne centred around Smithfield Market but for the last few years has been run in its current location.
The move to elsewhere in the City of London was met with scepticism in some quarters, but the change of parcours hasn't affected the quality of racing or the excitement of attending.
