Prendas Ciclismo and Rocket Espresso clothing line total exceeds £12,000 after biggest ever donation.

Since 2014 Prendas Ciclismo has been working in partnership with Rocket Espresso to produce a clothing line that benefits the Dave Rayner Fund. For every garment in the range, Prendas and Rocket both donate to the fund that benefits both male and female young riders that are trying to make it in the European pro peloton. To date, the fund has received five payments totalling over £12,000.

Mick Tarrant, of Prendas Ciclismo, said: ‘It gives us great satisfaction to be involved in a project that benefits something as worthy as the Dave Rayner Fund.’

Andrew Meo, founding partner of Rocket Espresso, said: ‘Rocket Espress is pleased to offer continued support to the Dave Rayner Fund through our association with Prendas. Whilst we currently support some 30 World Tour riders, it’s nice to be able to give something to those that are making their way up the ladder in the professional peloton.’

Numerous items from the range benefit the fund including a cycling cap, long sleeved jersey, bibshorts and gilet.

Joscelin Ryan, representing the Dave Rayner Fund, said: ‘The Prendas Ciclcismo – Rocket Espresso range has proved to be a huge success again this year.

‘The fund is very grateful for the support that has been received. The funds will enable more young riders to experience time spent abroad in their quest to become professional cyclists.’
