Live stream of the National Track Championships in Manchester

Friday a little dull? Wishing away the hours until the weekend starts? I know the feeling, so let me help you out by giving you a little working hours fix of cycling.

Happening right now is the UK National Track Championships at the National Cycling Centre in Manchester and thanks to technology, there is a live stream that you can watch right here.

This morning's session that kicked of at 10:00 includes qualifying for the men's team and women's individual sprint, men's 4km individual pursuit, women's 3km individual pursuit qualifying and finals to the C1-5 and BVI para-cycling time trial events. This will go on until 14:45.

The day's second session returns at 18:30, with the finals of the day's earlier qualifiers and a selection of para-cycling sprint events for another three and a half hours.

The National Championships act as a great precursor for the upcoming World Championships, drawing out the best and brightest track talent in the country.

Among those competing will be four-time Olympic gold medalist Laura Kenny - racing the scratch and points race - alongside Elinor Barker and Katie Archibald.

Archibald's brother John will be racing for independent Huub-Watt Bike team. He, this morning, already set a new national and sea-level individual pursuit record time of 4-09.584, beating teammate Dan Bigham to top spot in qualifying.

Also in attendance will be Olympians and Paralympians Jason Kenny, Phil Hindes, Jody Cundy and Kadeena Cox, all looking to take National titles before heading to the Worlds in Poland at the end of February.
