The next best thing to roadside viewing: See all the biggest races live at Look Mum No Hands

Popular London cycling cafe and bike shop Look Mum No Hands is the ideal location to while away the hours watching professional cycling

Watching cycling by the roadside is a fantastic experience and a must-do for any serious cycling fan but for most of us it's not practical to take the whole season off work to follow the WorldTour around the roads of Europe and further afield.

Not that we're complaining, as sitting down to watch a full day's coverage of a Giro d'Italia stage or catching all the action from the World Championships on the television is a pretty good alternative.

To make the experience even better many of us will watch on a big screen in a fanzone or cycling cafe, beer (or soft drink) in hand and lunch within reach.

One such place to settle down for a full afternoon in front of the big screen is London's Look Mum No Hands. The Old Street cafe also has a bicycle workshop so you could get your pride and joy serviced while cheering on Tom Dumoulin and anyone else not in a Team Sky jersey as they battle for the win.

Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, a plethora of coffee types and with several beers on tap, LMNH is the ideal place to catch a bike race when roadside viewing isn't an option.

What's more, if you visit LMNH over the next couple of months you'll be able to find out more about the Cyclist Track Days and see some of the bikes you can ride at the events.

If you're interested in a day spent riding the world's best bikes, buy your tickets here:

In case of any doubt this isn't an advertorial for Look Mum No Hands, I'm just a fan of the cafe. There are many equally good bike cafes up and down the country – so find the nearest one to you and settle in for a day's viewing. You won't regret it.
