Big Tex is getting in the business of cycling holidays to Balearic Islands

Former seven-time Tour de France champion Lance Armstrong is offering cycling fans the chance to join him on a cycling holiday to Mallorca.

Alongside his 'loyal lieutenant' Geroge Hincapie, Armstrong's 'The Move' podcast will be inviting 12 guests on a five-night getaway to Mallorca for a cycling tour of the island.

As well as ticking off the famous climbs, like Cap de Formentor and Sa Calobra, you will get a chance to chew the fat with Big Tex, see him and Hincapie record live podcasts and join them for a glass of wine and ribeye steak at dinner.

Who knows, after a few glasses of red he may even open up to you about the dark days. Talk to him about Mont Ventoux at the 2000 Tour de France, grill him on Christophe Bassons and ask him what it was like being flicked by Alberto Contador to Verbier in 2009.

You will also be provided with full accommodation, cycling kit, a reception, all of your meals, Pinarello bike hire and full-guided rides.

Armstrong then took to Instagram to promote the trip giving a snippet of what is to be expected.

'Heads up! @ghincapie and myself (as well as rockstar guides Emily and @mikekloser) are taking THEMOVE to Mallorca. Join us on this beautiful Mediterranean island for amazing rides, food, wine, and conversation.'

Spots are on sale now with the holiday set to take place in September. Oh, and if you are tempted by it all, a heads up that one spot will set you back US$30,000.
