A guide on where to catch live coverage and highlights of the 2022 Omloop Het Nieuwsblad and Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne

This weekend, Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th February, will see the beginning of the 2022 Classics with the men's and women's Omloop Het Nieuwsblad and the men's Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne.

Saturday 26th February will see both the men's and women's Omloop Het Nieuwsblad take place in the Flemish Ardennes.

A distilled version of the Tour of Flanders, both routes will tackle some of the most challenging cobbled climbs in Flanders before finishing in the town of Ninove. Davide Ballerini and Anna van der Breggen are the respective defending champions.

A day later, the men's peloton will be heading to Kuurne for the second one-day Classic of the season, Kuurne-Brussels-Kuurne, a day much better suited to the sprinters and ambitious rouleurs.

Defending champion Mads Pedersen won in a bunch sprint with the likes of Tom Pidcock and Matteo Trentin last year.

As for the women's peloton, they will once more head to Omloop van het Hageland after its cancellation in 2021. Like Kuurne, it suits the faster riders best with Lorena Wiebes winning the bunch kick two years ago.
