Lancashire brand creates online alternative to this weekend’s postponed London Bike Show

With this weekend’s London Bike Show postponed, Ribble has instead set up its stall back at its Preston headquarters. Intending to broadcast its own interactive bike show, interested riders will now be able to view the brand’s latest bikes and grill Ribble’s experts online.

Starting on Friday 27th March, Ribble will host a live event showcasing its latest line-up. Viewable online via your tablet, mobile device or computer, the event will be streamed at 13:00 and 18:00GMT on RibbleCycles.co.uk, Facebook Live and YouTube.

Starting with the road range, before moving on to the versatile CGR bikes, hybrids, E-bikes, specialist racing machines including track, triathlon, TT and MTB, before finishing up Ribble’s Adventure range - the full schedule can be found here: ribblecycles.co.uk/ribble-live

Each model will be introduced, with a quick Q&A session following immediately after. For the duration of the weekend over which the show was due to take place, Ribble’s team will also be pacing their virtual stand.

Available over Saturday and Sunday for one-on-one sessions, anyone interested in quizzing the team can virtually pop-by the stand through the previously listed website.

With the ExCel centre where the London Bike Show was due to take place now being converted into the NHS Nightingale field hospital, everyone’s first thoughts will be with keeping safe during this worrying period.

At the same time, many of us are having to adapt to keep our businesses running. If you were planning to attend the show, or just missing chatting tech with fellow cyclists, a spot of virtual browsing could represent a safe way to keep the wheels turning.
