Show will take place in April and run alongside inaugural London eBike festival

The Cycle Show will find its home at the Alexandra Palace for 2021 alongside the inaugural London eBike Festival.

The annual show will return to London after nine years at the NEC in Birmingham and be held alongside the new eBike event from 16th to 18th April 2021.

The 2020 edition of the Cycle Show was due to take place in Birmingham from 18th to 20th September, but it has since been cancelled due to the Covid-19 situation.

The cancellation of the 2020 show has, however, allowed the organisers to approach the event differently which helped contribute to the change of location to North London.

'The launch of London eBike Festival and the 2020 edition of the Cycle Show were both cancelled due to Covid-19, however, the break in the event calendar has given us an opportunity to reimagine the events,' said Nicola Meadows, director of the Cycle Shoe and London eBike Festival.

'This will enable us to deliver an incredibly exciting new format utilising the excellent outdoor space offered by Alexandra Palace, as well as providing the perfect environment to showcase the best brands in the industry.'

Alexandra Palace, best known for hosting the PDC Darts World Championships and music concerts, will have 11,000sqm of exhibition space for both shows to utilise including a surrounding 196 acres of parkland that will double up as a demo area for both on and off-road bikes.

Additionally, some exhibitors have already confirmed their attendance for 2021 including Bosch e-Bike Systems, Trek, Lezyne, Specialized, Canyon, Ribble, Raleigh, Lapierre, Haibike, Kinesis, Cannondale, Riese & Muller, VanMoof, Surly and GoCycle, among others.
