YouTube series 'The Run Up' will go behind the scenes with three teams in the lead up to the some of the season's biggest races

A new series going behind the scenes on the Women's WorldTour will premiere on Saturday 24th April.

'The Run Up', airing for free on YouTube, will give fans exclusive access to three teams in the lead up to some of the biggest races on the calendar with episodes going live the day before the race.

It will initially look at riders and staff from Canyon-Sram, Trek-Segafredo and SD Worx, though it is hoped more teams will be added in the future.

The first series will film at four events throughout the 2021 season, starting with Lizzie Deignan's defence of Liège-Bastogne-Liège.

Canyon-Sram's Tiffany Cromwell said of the series, 'The Run Up is a great new project to help bring fans closer to the top teams and personalities of the sport.

'It's an opportunity for the world to gain a greater insight into what goes on behind the scenes at the highest level, to prepare for the world's biggest and toughest races and the rollercoaster of emotions that comes with it.

'It's an exciting new project that I'm confident will help widen the audience of women's cycling and hopefully bring more people into the sport and inspire people along the way.'
