Deceuninck-QuickStep to become Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl Team

Patrick Lefevere's Wolfpack will only have one name sponsor in 2022 as Deceuninck contract ends while Quick-Step extends deal

Deceuninck-QuickStep have announced that they will go by the name Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl Team in 2022.

As the deal with window specialist Deceuninck comes to an end after an incredibly successful three years, definitely getting its money's worth, Quick-Step will become the only name sponsor for next year.

Having recently extended its partnership with Patrick Lefevere's outfit until 2027, the flooring brand – which has been the team's main sponsor since their inception – will use the opportunity to promote its Alpha Vinyl range.

You can see why the sponsor remains attached to the Wolfpack too, not only do they consistently win the biggest races on the cycling calendar but the team's output runs parallel with the brand's own plans.

Ruben Desmet, president of Unilin Flooring, which owns Quick-Step, said, 'The Quick-Step brand is, of course, linked to laminate flooring solutions, but we offer much more – including high quality vinyl flooring. Market demand is booming for vinyl and Quick-Step wants to dominate this market, like we do for laminate flooring.

'If you're in the market for a new floor, he explained, 'Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl floors are rigid, 100% watertight, ultra-strong vinyl flooring solutions that are almost indistinguishable from real wood or stone – and they can be installed on different types of surfaces, level or fairly irregular.'
