Fundraiser sees riders given choice of four routes across the Island including 92km End2End and Back ride

Isle of Wight charity ride the Mounbatten End2End is back for 2021, with riders set to take to the Island's trails on 15th August.

The ride takes participants from Culver Down in the east to Tennyson Down in the west on a mixture of on- and off-road paths and with four choices of routes, there's something for all levels of experience.

Route 1 is the classic End2End 45km ride, Route 2 is the long 92km End2End and Back again, Routes 3 and 4 are Half an End rides going from Culver Down to Gatcombe and Gatcombe to Tennyson Down respectively.

Money raised from the event will go to Mountbatten, an Isle of Wight-based charity that provides care and support to those living with, affected by, or curious about, death, dying and bereavement.

The event was started by Mountbatten doctor David Isaac and has been supported directly by the chairty since 2011.

Nigel Hartley, Mountbatten CEO, said, 'We are so pleased to be able to stage End2End again, after what has been an incredibly difficult time for us all over the last 18 months.

'We really hope to welcome hundreds of cyclists for the challenge, all helping to play their part as we look to get back on track with our fundraising activities.'
