For a second consecutive year, Le Col and Colnago have announced the return of the Colnago Owners' Day for 2018, which will be held on 19th August at Chavenage House, Gloucestershire. Owners of the historic Italian bike brand will be invited to come together this Summer to celebrate their mutual admiration for the brand and remember its long history.

Across the weekend, Colnago owners will be able to look at bikes from throughout the brand’s history while also getting to test ride its newest machine, the Colnago C64.

It will also be a chance for like-minded cyclists to chat about a bike brand that truly has produced a cult-like following.

In attendance this year will be 2012 Tour de France champion Sir Bradley Wiggins, a Colnago owner himself, who will be riding an exclusive 40 mile sportive through the Gloucestershire countryside before taking part in a Q&A later that day.

Once you have finished the sportive, you can then treat yourself to a champagne lunch while listening to a live jazz band.

Joe Robinson

Incredibly, former Cyclist digital editor Joe Robinson did not learn to ride a bike until the age of 14 as he used to skateboard so had no interest in getting a bike. Thankfully he has since seen the light and has been hooked ever since watching Alberto Contador battle the Schleck brothers and Lance Armstrong to Verbier at the 2009 Tour de France. Joe was Cyclist's man for niche facts about Leif Hoste, anecdotes on how good Zdenek Stybar smells and the Cyclist Magazine Podcast, which he co-founded in 2020 with deputy editor James Spender. Joe is fond of telling people about his 6ft 3in wingspan – despite only being 6ft tall – and that time he appeared on a BBC quiz show. Follow Joe on Twitter and Instagram for mainly cycling and a bit of football too. Height: 183cm Weight: 93kg (on a good day) Saddle height: 78cm
