One of the best things about a cycling holiday is it allows you to indulge your fantasies a little, whether that’s tackling legendary roads or trying on the pro lifestyle for a week at a training camp.

By hiring a high-end bike for your holiday, however, you can take this to a different level by experiencing those roads on the ride of your dreams.

As the name suggests, Pinarello Experience in Mallorca can help you do just that, as it offers the opportunity to explore the island on a bike with truly thoroughbred status.

Pinarello is, after all, the bike brand with more Tour de France wins (13 at the time of writing) than any other in history, including five of the last six thanks to the exploits of Messrs Froome and Wiggins.

Its fleet of bikes ranges from the Pinarello Razha, which combines impressive levels of comfort and handling, right up to the famed Dogma F10 Dura-Ace Di2 – the same model that Team Sky’s racers have been riding to victory over the last year or so.

In between are models from Pinarello’s Treviso, Gan and Marvel ranges. All come with 50/34 compact chainsets, 11-28 cassettes and Shimano components, making them ideal for tackling the many lumps and bumps magnificent Mallorca offers, whether that’s conquering the world-famous Sa Calobra climb, breezing along the coastal road out to Cape Formentor Lighthouse, or exploring the Tramuntana Mountains and discovering places such as the magical Lluc monastery.

Hiring your dream machine couldn’t be easier either. Simply fire up your internet and type in to explore the impressive range of models displayed online, and pick the one that makes you go ‘Oh, wow!’

Next, punch in the dates when you’re visiting Mallorca, and select the size of bike you require. Helpfully, the website can make sure your bike will be a good fit by getting you to order the size by your height – it even asks you what saddle height you require, and you can also choose the type of pedals you usually ride with if you don’t want to bring your own.

All you need then do when you arrive in Mallorca is just turn up at Pinarello Experience’s showroom on the seafront in Puerto Pollensa in your usual cycling gear (including your lid and shoes) and collect your bike.

There’ll even be an in-house mechanic on hand to take care of any final tweaks so that you and your holiday bike are a perfect match.

So if you’re thinking of heading to Mallorca for your next cycling holiday, why not treat yourself to something truly special. Not only will you save yourself the aggravation of dragging your own bike through customs, but you’ll end up enjoying a biking experience that’ll glow brightly in your memory long after your tan lines have faded.

Bike hire prices start from £21 per day with generous discounts available for group bookings of eight or more riders. See for further details.
